Our client found this rural site in Mendon, New York overlooking wooded wetlands many years prior to building. The house features a timbered great room made from locally sourced larch, a species of conifer that drops its needles seasonally. A wide plank cherry floor compliments the warm color of the timbers. An interesting but subtle detail can be found in the tapered side walls of the bedroom dormers.
