Owasco Lake, also known as "The Crossing Point" or "Floating Bridge" measuring at a length of 11 miles. More than 70% of Cayuga County water supply is contributed from Owasco Lake. With Owasco Lake having shallow waters, it allows for warm water temperatures in the summer making a perfect lake for swimming and boating. Owasco Lake is home to walleye, perch, smallmouth bass, trout, northern pike, and salmon making an ideal fishing location during the summer and winter months.
